Most people won’t click on this, let alone read the article, let alone pay for the premium version which includes all the “expert” takes Matt Taibbi has sourced. Most people will only take away the quote here, from a supposed expert, that “you got a hot-headed dumb cop and then you got entitled Karen doing whatever she does. And that’s the perfect storm for a disaster.”
This message reinforces the authoritarian messaging coming out of the Trump administration and amplifies the smear campaign right-wing media has spun up to retroactively justify the ICE assassination of Renee Nicole Good.
