When establishment ghouls from across the spectrum turned up for Dick Cheney’s funeral, JoeWrote reflected that the vice president’s impunity is why Donald Trump must face consequences for his crimes in office.

The need for accountability is not limited to the president and vice president. Joe argued the United States should join the Rome Statute, then submit Trump, Biden, and Obama Administration officials and military leaders to a retroactive judicial process at the International Criminal Court. That would only be the first step; Joe believes gestapo ICE agents must do hard time — and I agree.

In American Nuremberg, I campaigned for an extensive post-Trump tribunal modeled after the allied powers’ ad hoc Nuremberg trials. Alongside MAGA criminals in elected office and those in ICE goon squads, I detailed the need to prosecute propagandist media figures and judges. Joe and I weighed the political, moral, and constitutional case for ending MAGA impunity, and the politically potent project of responding to widespread anti-establishment anger with a positive progressive vision.
