Completely agreed. I would genuinely consider using Clubhouse if it were tied into Substack.

Thanks for the Clubhouse information, I was not aware of that platform. Your idea holds promise. We in the US need as large a place as possible to create, receive, and exchange ideas no longer explored or investigated in old time corporate media. Which media have abandoned any pretense of adhering to a free press, and to safeguard our liberties.

I think they are two different markets. I also think social sharing is over for the Gen Zers and beyond. My grandson does only WhatsApp and YouTube. And I know investors are VERY over social media, because they are all flocking to AI and crypto and they always go all in the same direction like lemmings. Not saying it wouldn't be useful. Chatter also tried to do something like this. With video

Interesting! I’m curious who you’d consider to be the markets for each platform. Between video and the written word, I think Substack can appeal to anyone. I’m also disinclined to generalize my read of habits across entire generations.

Somehow this is the first I’ve heard of Clubhouse. Wish I’d heard of it years ago. I’ll search it now.
